Computer Retraining Examined
Just ten percent of adults in Great Britain are happy with what they do for a living. Of course, most will take no action. The fact that you’re reading this surely suggests that you’ve realised change must come.
We’d recommend that prior to beginning any individual training program, you discuss your plans with a person who can see the bigger picture and can make recommendations. They can look at aspects of your personality and give you guidance on the right role for you:
* Is having company at work important to you? Is it meeting new people or being part of a team? Maybe you like to deal with tasks that only you know how to deal with?
* What’s important that you get from the industry your job is in? (Building and banking – not so stable as they once were.)
* How long a career do you hope to have once retrained, and will the market sector offer you that opportunity?
* Do you feel uncomfortable with regard to your chances of getting another job, and keeping a job to the end of your working life?
It’s important that one of your key sectors is Information Technology – it’s common knowledge that it’s developing all the time. It’s not all nerdy people looking at computer screens constantly – it’s true some IT jobs demand that, but the majority of roles are filled with Joe averages who do very well out of it.
If you’re considering a training academy that still provides ‘in-centre’ days as a feature of their programme, then take note of these problems experienced by almost all students:
* Loads of driving back and forth from the training centre – normally 100’s of miles.
* Workshop accessibility; frequently Monday to Friday and sometimes 2-3 days at a time. It’s never convenient to take the required days away from work.
* If we get 20 days holiday per year, sacrificing half of them for training events means we’ll be hard-pushed to get a holiday with our families.
* ‘In-Centre’ workshop days can get way too big.
* There is often tension in classes as most students want to move at a pace comfortable for them.
* Most attendees talk of the high costs involved with all the travelling back and forth to the training school whilst paying for accommodation and food gets very high.
* You should never risk the chance of letting yourself be overlooked for a lift up the ladder or pay-rises because you’re getting trained in a different area.
* Posing questions in front of other class-mates will often make any one of us feel nervous. Have you ever left a question un-asked just because you didn’t want to look foolish?
* For students working away from home occasionally, you face the added difficulty that events are now difficult to get to – but unfortunately, the fees were paid along with everything else at the start.
Doesn’t it make a lot more sense to learn when it’s convenient for you – not the company – and exploit videos of instructors with interactive virtual-lab’s.
You could study at home on your PC or use your laptop to enjoy the sun. Any questions; then utilise the 24×7 Support (that we hope you’ll insist on with any technical courses.)
You’ll never have to write notes again – you have the lessons and accompanying information ready-made for you. If you need to cover something again, you’ve got it all.
Could it get any simpler: No wasted time or money, travelling is avoided; and you end up with a more comfortable study setting.
Considering the amount of options that are available, is it any wonder that the majority of trainees don’t really understand the best career path they will follow.
How can we possibly grasp the tasks faced daily in an IT career when we’ve never done it? Maybe we don’t know someone who works in that sector anyway.
Arriving at the right conclusion will only come from a meticulous analysis of several varying key points:
* Your hobbies and interests – as they can show the possibilities will give you the most reward.
* Why it seems right stepping into Information Technology – is it to overcome some personal goal such as being your own boss for instance.
* Your earning needs you may have?
* There are many markets to choose from in IT – it’s wise to get some key facts on what separates them.
* It’s wise to spend some time thinking about what kind of effort and commitment you’ll put into your training.
When all is said and done, the best way of investigating all this is via a meeting with an advisor or professional who has enough background to provide solid advice.

Looking for Computer Careers Training – Some Thoughts
With an abundance of IT and computer courses to choose from, it’s best to take advice from a training company who can help you settle on one you’ll be happy with. Reputable organisations will familiarise you with the types of jobs that could be right for you, in advance of recommending a training path that can take you where you want to go.
Why not try user skills courses, or take a career track and specialise. Plain speaking courses will set you on the right track to achieve your goals.
Today, there are many user-friendly and accessibly priced options available that will give you everything you need.
Discovering job security nowadays is problematic. Companies can drop us from the workforce at a moment’s notice – as and when it suits them.
Wherever we find growing skills deficits mixed with increasing demand however, we can discover a newer brand of market-security; as fuelled by a continual growth, companies just can’t get the number of people required.
The most recent United Kingdom e-Skills analysis showed that over 26 percent of all available IT positions cannot be filled due to a huge deficit of trained staff. Quite simply, we can’t properly place more than 3 out of every 4 jobs in the computer industry.
Gaining full commercial IT certification is therefore a quick route to succeed in a long-term as well as pleasing livelihood.
Without a doubt, this really is a fabulous time to join Information Technology (IT).
Incorporating exams upfront and offering an ‘Exam Guarantee’ is a popular marketing tool with a number of training colleges. However, let’s consider what’s really going on:
Obviously it’s not free – you are paying for it – it’s just been wrapped up in the price of the package.
Should you seriously need to qualify first ‘go’, then the most successful route is to pay for each exam as you go, give it the priority it deserves and give the task sufficient application.
Does it really add up to pay your training college in advance for exam fees? Hold on to your money and pay for the exam when you take the exam, rather than coughing up months or even a year or two in advance – and sit exams more locally – not at somewhere of their bidding.
Buying a course that includes payments for examinations (and if you’re financing your study there’ll be interest on that) is madness. Resist being talked into filling the training company’s account with your money just to give them more interest! Some will be pinning their hopes on the fact that you won’t get to do them all – but they won’t refund the cash.
Also, you should consider what an ‘exam guarantee’ really means. The majority of organisations won’t pay again for an exam until you can prove to them you’re ready to pass.
The cost of exams was approximately 112 pounds in the last 12 months when taken at local VUE or Pro-metric centres throughout the country. So what’s the point of paying maybe a thousand pounds extra to get ‘an Exam Guarantee’, when any student knows that the best guarantee is a regular, committed, study programme, with an accredited exam preparation system.
Don’t accept anything less than an accredited exam preparation programme included in your course.
Due to the fact that many examining boards for IT are American, it’s essential to understand how exam questions will be phrased and formatted. It isn’t good enough merely going through the right questions – they have to be in the same format as the actual exams.
Ensure that you verify whether you’re learning enough by doing tests and practice exams to prepare you for taking the proper exam.
Qualifications from the commercial sector are now, undoubtedly, beginning to replace the more academic tracks into the IT industry – so why should this be?
Vendor-based training (to use industry-speak) is far more effective and specialised. The IT sector is aware that this level of specialised understanding is what’s needed to meet the requirements of a technologically complex marketplace. Adobe, Microsoft, CISCO and CompTIA are the big boys in this field.
Vendor training works through concentrating on the particular skills that are needed (together with an appropriate level of related knowledge,) rather than spending months and years on the background detail and ‘fluff’ that academic courses can get bogged down in – to pad out the syllabus.
Imagine if you were an employer – and you needed to take on someone with a very particular skill-set. Which is the most straightforward: Go through loads of academic qualifications from several applicants, trying to establish what they know and what vocational skills have been attained, or choose particular accreditations that perfectly fit your needs, and draw up from that who you want to speak to. The interview is then more about the person and how they’ll fit in – instead of long discussions on technical suitability.

Home Based Businesses For 2009 – 3 Company Choosing Tips
Are you in the position to start a Home Based Business? This will be one of the best decisions you can make for your family. With all of the different company’s out there, how do you choose? Here are a some tips that will help.
Which brings me to my first tip. Make sure you pick a company a GPT-Payplan.
A very key area to observe is the pay structure of the company you are choosing to join., is making sure you choose a pay plan that enables you to get paid directly. Most companies out there make you wait weeks, or even months to get paid. GPT= Get Paid Today.
The GPT pay plan enables you to get paid directly when the sale is made. Most companies you have to wait up to 30 days to get payed. You get paid upfront and that money is worth a lot more to you today than it would be 30 to 90 days from now. Quick Tip- Make sure you are getting big commissions. $500+
Only follow a proven system
When you are doing research for your home based business, you should make sure that they have a simple proven system that the average person can plug into and make profits with immediately. Its all about profits. The quicker your customer/ rep can make their Roi (Return On Investment) back, the happier they will be and the longer they will stick around. With a proven system, the only thing that should be missing is you. Do the hard work up front, be patient and have consistent action and you will see results.
Make sure your products have value.
If you just look around you will see everyone selling vitamins, magic juices, pills and cosmetics. Companies like Target, Walmart, kroger and every other retail store. Find products that stand alone and make you feel good when you sell them. Don’t pick a product that is already saturated in the market and also make sure you are getting paid a high commission on that product.

Lotus Exige Scura Review
While a majority of automakers are bailing out of the Tokyo Motor Show, it is nice to see that there will indeed be a few new models to look at when it comes to be show time. One such vehicle will be a special edition sports car from he light weight English race car builders at Lotus. While the boffins from across the pond have already engineered every unnecessary ounce out of the Exige in the hopes of creating a hard core driving experience, this particularly dark model focuses on making the little Lotus as sinister looking as it is lethal. The special edition Tokyo Motor Show Lotus Exige is named the Scura, which is the Italian word for dark, due to its dramatic black bodywork and a GT3 inspired rear end.
Priced at around $75,000 the Exige Scura features a trio of Phantom Black stripes to break up the large panels of matte black paint, however the carbon fiber bits and suede wrapped racing buckets go a bit further towards showing off the Scura’s true purpose of being an all out competition vehicle. Only now instead of laughing at bright orange bodywork, other drivers will stay out of this Lotus’ way. Like all Exige models the Scura is powered by a supercharged four cylinder engine that delivers a maximum output of 257 HP 174 lb-ft of torque, while it can sprint from 0 to 60 MPH in only 4 seconds and reach a top speed of 152 MPH.
Lotus Cars unveils its latest special edition – the Exige Scura, so called due to its dramatic matt black and carbon fibre theme, at the Tokyo International Motorshow on 21st of October 2009.
Translated as ‘dark’ from Italian, the name ‘Scura’ reflects the stealth character of this already fierce looking Lotus and its stunning soft-feel matt black paint finish. Limited to just 35 cars globally, this Exige evokes a desire to ‘indulge your dark side’. This is a serious looking car and enhancements to performance and a reduction in weight from the production level Exige S means that the Exige Scura demands to be driven by a serious driver.
Contrasting high gloss ‘Phantom Black’ triple stripes run the length of the car and a carbon fibre front splitter, oil cooler inlet vanes, side airscoops and rear spoiler enhance the stunning distinction between the different textures and exaggerate the tactile quality of the velvety touch to the matt black paint finish.
Luke Bennett, Director of Lotus Cars said, “The Exige Scura is a stunning vehicle which offers an adrenaline fuelled experience and is a real head-turner! Our Exige customers choose Lotus because we deliver thrilling performance and dynamic design and this special edition fits the bill on both counts.

Mayan Predictions and 2012 Doomsday Survival
You are likely to have noticed the recent conversations concerning events that will hit the Earth on or around 21 December 2012. As a result, there is much talk about the apparent 2012 Doomsday survival guides and predictions and how to live through the tumultuous events set to occur just around the proverbial corner.
Said to be linked to the Mesoamerican Long Count Calendar terminating after 5, 125 years, there are many theories as to what may happen. This is the date of the winter solstice, a time when the earth will be perfectly aligned with a black hole deep within the Milky Way galaxy and the date of the end of the ancient Mayan civilization calendar.
One of the 2012 predictions which has set people talking has the earth colliding with another planet, though this has been mocked by NASA and other experts in planetary movements and things stellar. Another which has received widespread attention, concerns a geomagnetic shift of the earth’s poles. The shifting of the earth’s poles and its magnetic fields will result in natural disasters and catastrophes, such as hurricanes, massive earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and tsunamis, much like what happened millions of years ago with the last magnetic shift.
Because of the likely consequences, 2012 Doomsday survival tips and predictions have been posted online for a while already. It is thought to be the end of an era, the end of days, the day of disaster.
Already, people are told to start building concrete bunkers high in mountain ranges not prone to volcanic activity. However not all high ranges of mountains are advised, particularly those in the North and South American continents, nor most of Europe; both of these areas are seen as being virtual no go areas.
People are going to be needed to restart humanity, with the disaster wiping out all but the hardiest and well prepared of souls. It is advisable that tinned and dried food is collected and stored; a minimum of a year’s worth. Academic documents will also need to be saved, to ensure that knowledge to advance human kind is not lost for eternity. 2012 doomsday survival is not only possible, but is being planned by individuals and governments throughout the planet.
While many suggest that this apocalyptic event will allow humanity to be reborn, with a greater understanding of the races’ place in the world, there are equally as many who suggest that 2012 doomsday survival will not be needed. They claim instead that humanity will undergo a positive event, revolutionizing our existence rather than condemning it.
Are you prepared for doomsday in 2012? Natural disasters, worldwide pandemic, asteroid impact. Find out all the predictions and how to prepare for end of days. A doomsday that is foretold in the Mayan calendar and ancient Chinese oracles, all pointing to one date, a date foretold as the end of the world. Don’t start praying until you read this eye-opening new report, Surviving 2012.

Eat Nuts!
Nuts are tasty, loaded with good fat, protein, fiber, nutrients and phytochemicals that are heart healthy and potentially good for the waistline. Barring allergies, there aren’t many reasons not to include nuts in your diet. Let’s take a look at some interesting studies, tips and tidbits about nuts.
Nuts and the Heart
A study of 31000 Seventh Day Adventists that ate nuts more than 4 times per week were half as likely to die of a heart attack than those who ate nuts less than once a week. The Iowa Women’s Health Study came to a similar conclusion: Women who ate nuts or seeds 4 times per week were 40% less likely to die from heart disease than similar women who didn’t eat nuts. The Nurses’ Health Study showed that those who ate at least 140g/week of nuts were 35% less likely to be diagnosed with heart disease than those who ate less than 30g/month. Nuts and Weight
Most studies have shown that adding nuts to the diet does not cause people to gain much weight, if any at all. As an example, researchers gave participants 45-70g of almonds every day (320 calories worth) and gave them no further instructions about food intake. After 6 months, participants gained a very miniscule amount of weight (.2 lbs in women, 1.4 lbs in men). This study was funded by the almond industry.
There aren’t many studies that show nut consumption to help people lose weight, but one study showed that a low calorie diet that included almonds led to greater weight loss than an equal calorie diet that did not include almonds.
The Seventh Day Adventist and Nurses Health Study showed that those who regularly ate nuts weighed less than those who did not.
The Best Nuts
Are some nuts better than others when it comes to health benefits? All nuts contain good fats, fiber and proteins, but different kinds of nuts have different nutrient profiles.
Almonds are richest in vitamin E (35% recommended daily intake) and calcium (8%) per 1 oz. (30g) serving. Brazil nuts are highest in selenium with just 1 supplying a days worth. Cashews are richest in copper and zinc Peanuts (technically a legume) contain the antioxidant resveratrol, and are highest in protein and arginine content Walnuts have the most alpha linolenic acids (plant-based omega-3’s) How much?
Nuts are healthy but are a dense source of calories. 1oz/30g of nuts supply about 170-180 calories. Here is a chart that shows how many nuts are in 30g.
Number of Nuts in 30 grams (1oz)
Almonds: 20-24 Brazil nuts: 6-8 Pecans: 18-20 (halves) Cashews: 16-18 Pine Nuts: 150-157 Pistachios: 45-47 Walnuts: 8-11 Hazelnuts: 18-20

Ways To Choose The Best Domain Name For You
Here are ways you may choose the best domain name for you. Select a name that describes your web site. Your domain name should tell what your web site is about. The thing to do is select a domain name that tells everyone what your web site is about, if you sell hair care products; you would not want a domain name that says something about feet. That would make no sense.
You should definitely consider your keywords. The important keyword phrases should be in the domain name, you will find that search engines use keywords a lot. A few words that describe your web page best are a keyword phrase. If the web page focuses on hair care products, the keyword phrases should be “hair care products”.
With so many websites online, you want to pick a domain name that is easy to remember. ‘haircareproduct.com’ is very easily remembered; it contains the important keywords and describes the web site in great detail. It is a great domain name for this web site.
Using numbers in your domain name is not a good idea, so try to avoid it. Problems can occur when using numbers. You will have to keep telling people not to spell the number when typing the address; it could get quite irritating after a while. Other characters can be a hassle as well, so stay away from dashes, hyphens, and even underscores when possible.
Abbreviations and domain names that are too long should be avoided also. The longer the domain name is the harder it will be to remember. The shorter the name the easier to remember, therefore you should try to keep the name pretty short. Before you try to pick a domain name, make a list of a few dozen names you might want to use, because chances are that they will all be taken.
The generator for domain names may come in handy if you can not find a name that is available. Sometimes you may not be able to use all the tips from above, even if they are good tips. For example if you can not find a domain name you may have to add a number or a hyphen to your domain name.
Do not rush through the process of picking a domain name for your business because that name may help your business to grow in the future. In the long run it will be well worth the time and effort you put into the domain name search. It can become tedious work searching for the right name. The right domain name is important to your website so take your time and make sure that your name works with your site.
Most importantly, when you find that perfect available name for your domain, grab it immediately. Even a minor delay can cost you that domain name and it is not easy to find another one that is perfect for your business. The patience and brainstorming, can be endless when coming up with a domain name. Do not let that perfect name slip through your grasp. These good names go very fast. If you find that perfect name, grab it then or you will lose it forever.
